Hovet Ringworm
Ringworm
It is a superfical fungus disease of the skin and is more common in the younger age group.
Etiology
Various species of fungi are incrminated
Symptoms
The lesions usually assume a circular appearence and in severe cases may be large and extensive. The skin becomes dry and scaly. Itching is considerable.
The head and neck are favourite sites. The crusts on the lesions may be hard and scab-like.
Treatment
a) 5mls per head of Hovet Ringworm to be added to the drinking water and repeated in 7 days time.
b) This treament can also be administered directly into the animal using the Hovet Jumbo Sprayer – Repeat one week later
